How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your 8V Exchange account, please follow these steps to email our Customer Services team:

• Compose an Email: Open your email application and start a new message.
  
• Recipient: Address the email to support@8vex.com.
  
• Subject Line: Please use “Delete Account” as your subject to ensure the request is quickly identified.
  
• Email Body: In the message, clearly express your desire to delete your account. Include your User Identification Number (UID) to help us promptly locate your account in our system.
  
• Send: After verifying the details in your email, send it to our Customer Services team.
  

Following Your Request, Once we receive your request, our Customer Services team will contact you to verify your account ownership. This is a crucial step to secure your account and prevent unauthorized deletion requests. After confirming your identity, we will proceed with the permanent deletion of your account and associated data. Please be aware that this action is irreversible, resulting in the loss of all account information, including transaction history and any balances.

Data Retention Policy

To comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, 8V Exchange is obliged to retain certain information for 5 years post-account deletion. This includes transaction records, identity verification documents, and other relevant data.
